Now and then an agreement between a process licensor or catalyst producer and the licensee or catalyst user turns into a disagreement and if this cannot be resolved amicably between parties then law firms are engaged to resolve the issue through arbitration or in front of a court.
Catalyst Intelligence has assisted law firms that were engaged in a conflict between a process licensor and the licensee. In these projects we work with either the licensor or the licensee, and the law firm to get a thorough understanding of what has happened, and why the parties are now having a disagreement. Then, we study the documents and the correspondence and we look for additional information to make the legal argument, we issue expert reports and write rebuttals against the report issued by the expert of the other party and we participate in arbitration / court hearings.
