Start by writing a complete RFQ. Then, make sure that you invite all vendors to tender. Compare their offers, determine whether all acceptance criteria
are met, see whether they are willing to give valuable guarantees and check references. In the event of a new catalyst type or few relevant references,
request the running of a dedicated pilot plant test and ask for a performance test run in the unit with penalties if performance is not met.
