How can we check for catalyst deactivation by contaminants and prevent poisoning of the active grades?

There are several techniques on the market for checking the depth of contaminants in the catalyst bed prior to unloading. Alternatively, you can analyse individual samples taken during gravity dumping or samples taken at varying heights during vacuum unloading. Once the depth of the contaminants in the bed is known, you can select a number of guard beds with different capacities, to capture contaminants from the feedstock.
